Cell Phone Accessories

I was looking for a running belt that would hold my Iphone with the hard case I have it in. It fits very well in the case. I did have to cut a small hole for the headphone jack or I could have just moved the elastic material. I just didn't want to cause stress on the headphone plug.

The belt sits well on my waist. I run Runkeeper on my phone. I can tap through the plastic screen and get updates on my run, as well as listen to my music.

Either case, the belt does what it is suppose to do. Hold my iphone securely. There is little movement of the belt when I run. Tune Belt Sport Belt for iPhone and More (Fits iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, 2G & 1G; Blackberry Bold, Curve, Storm & Tour; Nokia N97; Palm Pre and many more)

I originally bought my girlfriend an Ipod Touch Armband from the Apple Store. However, her arms were way to miniscule for the thing to work properly. So instead of shelling out more money to get her a nano to work with her Nike + shoes. I saw this thing!!

The Waist Band fits great on her (and me). It does not move at all while running. A VERY GOOD ALTERNATIVE to armbands. The extra pocket for your key is also awesome.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an alternative to the classic ipod/cellphone armband.

Greetings,

I've tested a few different holders. Some that hold the phone vertically and some horizontally, like this one. All was going well until I leaped over a snow pile yesterday and my phone rocketed out of the holder upon landing. The phone flew about ten feet then skidded across the pavement another fifteen. I will no longer use horizontal holders unless the closure is on top. Side closures, especially this one, just cannot take the force applied to the velcro.

I really like this product for my Nokia N97 mini. I run with my phone primarily so that I can use GPS to track my performance. I tried an arm holster but the problem is that it slides down my arm as I'm running.

This product is very light and comfortable plus it's unobtrusive and looks good. The N97 mini cannot be operated while in the holster. This is because, if you leave the screen lock off, as you slide it in, the phone does crazy things that you don't want... like inadvertently opening or closing an app. If you put the screen lock on, then you can't see stuff like your gps workout data or fast forward to the next song. That doesn't bother me since I didn't expect to be able to operate the phone in the sleeve.

My 1 complaint is that I have to keep checking the velcro to make sure it is closed all the way. I've had a couple of instances where my phone slipped out and landed on the concrete while I was running. The worst case was durring a 5K race last weekend.

I was getting into my groove and was pushing from an 8:30 mile up to an 8:00 mile around the 1.5 mark. Then all of a sudden, crash. My phone landed on the ground and the battery cover and battery came off. My phone ended up with a new scratch or two but the worst part was losing my momentum. I had to reassemble the phone, reboot and restart my sports tracker application before I could get my head back into the race. From now on I am continuously checking that velcro but what a hassle?

I was looking for something to hold my Motorola Droid while running/biking. This has been the perfect solution. Simple design and way more comfortable than any of my armbands it does the job. The hole does not line up exactly where the headphone jack is on the Droid, but it works fine and could probably be easily modified if it became an issue. I am buying a second one for my wife.

After searching different online stores for several months including the "Apple" store and finding only armband carriers, I finally found a belt I could use to hold my "Apple" I-touch I-pod. I was thrilled to say the least when I finally came across the Tune Belt Open View Carrier. It is perfect for my I-pod. You can see and utilize the screen through the clear plastic so you don't have to remove it every time you want to change the song etc. It even has a very small change purse if you want to carry some $$ with you on your walk. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.

O.K., I admit it, I'm a big guy, but I like to jog. I was looking for something to hold my iPhone since the armband wasn't working for me. This product looked like it would work well until it arrived. I knew as soon as I opened the box that it was going to be a problem - it looked like it was not going to fit around my waist and sure enough, it did not fit comfortably. It does stretch, but it's really tight. Worse still, they do not provide enough extra strap to let it out some more. If you're a size 38 waist or less, this shouldn't be a problem, but like I said, I'm a big guy. Another thing that really bothers me is that these guys charge $5.81 for shipping, but mail it to you via the postal service with $1.73 in postage printed on the envelope. Yeah, it's going back.'
