It is my first time to buy on Amazon and a surprise to me. I purchased this camera for my new home security system. The picture quality is good, especially the night vision, I don't have any issue with image quality, it works wonderfully. For this price, I must say, it is a perfect deal, value to buy it. I have some bad neighbor, I installed this camera to my garage, it is about 2 cars wide, and I can clearly make out the faces and objects. I am very satisfied with this camera, really like it. In the darkness, the camera can capture clearly white and black image, now I know who is at my garage and what are they doing, it is good. The shipping is so fast and price is good. This is one of a number of devices I have purchased for a variety of modestly sized security systems. I find the images during daylight to be excellent for the application (access and egress points) and the nighttime IR works surprisingly well. I would commend these to a buyer who needs 'bang for the buck', has some modest exterior application issues (wind, salt air, rain). Would suggest a dome for snow/icy conditions.
Easy to install, works from the moment it is plugged in, with no hitches, problems, or issues. The components are sturdy and I expect to use more of these devices in the future. The 420 TVL deliver good facial recognition, the color is good, but the night capabilities are especially good for the number of IR LEDs.

Purchased this camera for its wider angle view then the standard cameras that came with my Night Owl FS-85000 DVR system.
The dome camera is very sturdy all metal, its a very clean design and easy to mount and conceals all wires and mounting hardware
The color is much better (truer colors) then my standard cameras that came with my system and wider angle as well.
The night vision is good for the area I have it in which is my front porch area that is able 8ft high and 4ft by 4ft, the LED's can be seen but seem to be dimmer then my other cameras and do stand out as much.
The motion activation feature on my DVR works with this camera.
This camera is NOT a PTZ but is aim-able in a wide range of angles and will stay fixed in that position and is not easily moved once set
(a vandal could NOT knock it out of viewing position without a ladder and being seen)
I am very please with the quality build of this camera and have purchased 2 more for other locations around my home.
