Usb Car Stereo

I bought and returned this unit. The main reason is because the screen is too bright, and the brightness cannot be adjusted. That means it cannot be adjusted in the menu and there's no illumination wire on the connector that can be controlled by the headlight setting.

The screen is very bright. Excellent on a sunny day but glaringly bright and distracting at night. The black background of the display is even washed out by the brightness to the point where it's not quite black when the unit is on.

Also this unit is lacking a High Pass Filter. My speakers were getting distorted at moderate to high volume levels. A HPF would solve this. This feature existed on its predecessor, the 3200.

Also lacking is the EQ. The 5-band graphic EQ from previous models has been replaced with a 3-band bass/mid/high.

On the plus side the mechanics on the 3300 are excellent. The buttons have a great tactile feel and there is plenty of grip length on the control knob. I tried out the 3200 in the store and the 3300 by comparison has better buttons.

But the brightness of the screen and lack of HPF were the real deal-breakers for me. I returned it and bought one of last year's models, the DEH-5200HD.

As for the DEH-5200HD it is an excellent unit. It has a HPF, which stops the speaker distortion and helps the overall sound quality. Plus the 5-band EQ allows for better fine tuning, and the brightness is adjustable. Finally, I found I really like the HD radio feature as it opened up additional FM channels that I didn't have access to before.

Overall I'd recommend buying a 2010 Pioneer model instead of their 2011 models. The 4300 also lacks a HPF, but at least the brightness can be tuned to 1 custom setting. It wasn't immediately clear though from my reading if the 4300 allows for a preset low/high setting. That could make switching brightness tedious.

Pioneer should always have a HPF and low/high brightness setting at the very least. In addition they should have an illumination wire on all their radios so brightness is set to low/high automatically when the headlights are turned on/off.

The DEH-5200HD is a better unit in my own experience, and based on looking at the specs their other 2010 models are a better choice than the 2011 models since they have removed the HPF and brightness settings. Pioneer DEH-3300UB CD Receiver with iPod Direct Control and USB Input

In general this is a decent entry-level car CD/USB/iPod receiver. One of the most important improvements in this model from the previous year's version was reworking the main function knob to a rotary encoder and push button only, with direction-pad functions moved to separate buttons. On the earlier unit, it would have been a frustrating game attempting to turn up the volume, for instance, without accidentally pushing the "joystick" and changing a track or station.

At this point in my ownership, the biggest drawback is the lack of AAC file support. If you're like me, you might be browsing several models that support MP3 and AAC (not to mention WMA) directly from a USB thumb drive, but fail to spot those that do *not* include AAC. Does this make (the DEH-3300UB) a bad product? No. But it feels a little bit like a fine-print gotcha.

This is a great radio. The availability of USB and AUX is a great feature. The only complaint I have is the equalizer is a bit limited in the number of selections. Other than that, the radio is definitely worth purchasing.

We love everything about this stereo...works perfectly with mp3 player, has great sound output. (We paired this stereo with Boss 200 watt marine speakers and installed them in our airboat-we put the stereo in a marine stereo housing unit), and we're very pleased with the sound...had to raise the treble level a little, but it sounds great to us! Great stereo for a great price!

I bought this CD player bc I can plug my HTC Evo in it, charge my phone and listen to the music on it. And it has an AUX jack so I can plug my phone up from the headphone jack and listen to Pandora Radio. It also comes with a handy remote control which I really liked bc I dont have to fool with trying to find the little buttons on the CD player while I am driving. The installation was pretty easy since I had an older pioneer CD player in it so I just had to connect the colored wires together. I really enjoy having this CD player. It's an awesome player for the price!

The radio plays, and the CD player works (I think), but it doesn't always hold radio stations in memory and the iPod part stopped working altogether withing a couple of weeks.

If that's important to you, I'd recommend saving up and getting a higher quality product.'

Deskjet Printers - hp ink cartridge, hp ink

Buying the combo pack was less expensive that buying them separately. What else is there to say? It comes with the same free return envelopes (that let you return the empty cartridges for recycling) as the single Ink Cartridge. HP 56/57 Black, Tri-Color Ink Cartridge, Combo Pack (C9321FN#140)

The Inkjet Combo Pack is what I needed for my printer. There is nothing stellar about it. It gets the job done, and well. The quality of the prints are crisp and clean. I have not had any problems with the cartridges on my printer. Also, the combo pack is a better deal than if purchasing the individual cartridges. So I recommend it.

Please read the following, and then use any seller other than Image

Warehouse!

I love my HP printer, but I thought I'd try a more economical option than buying the name brand print cartridge. Knowing nothing about any of the sellers of "generic" print cartridges, I thought I would play it safe and use a reseller for Amazon. Big Mistake!

After nearly two months, I have no print cartidges that work, and no money back. This infuriating process has consisted of

1. My electronic order. That part was fine.

2. Print cartidges which arrived unhurt. Good so far.

3. Color cartridges, which when installed in their port, were totally undetectible by my HP2100 printer. I tried everything imaginable - swapping ports, turning on and off the printer, more, and nothing worked. End of week one.

4. Sent off an email to Image Warehouse carefully detailing my printer's inability to recognize the cartridge. One week passes.

5. I recieve an email telling me to visit their trouble-shooting site for that item, and when I visit, it tells me how to clean the ink jets with my printer. Not the problem I wrote them about!

6. Sent them an email stating that if they could not help me with the problem, I would send the cartridges back, and would like a refund for the entire price, including my shipping expenses - both directions.

7. They email me where to return the two unusable catridges, and I mail them USPO, with all communications, to the address provided.

8. 20 days pass and I send an email asking if they have recieved the return.

9. Silence.

10. I am now almost two months into this process, and I have no cartridges, no refund of the original charges, no return shipping, and no news.

I have ALWAYS had great luck with Amazon. They are my go to default for much of my internet purchases. I have never had this bad an internet transaction. The fact that Image Warehouse is an Amazon reseller has done squat for the process. Save your money and try another seller!

"HP 56/57 Inkjet Print Combo Pack." Sooooo, what's not to like?

HP--a reliable name in product quality!

56/57--black ink cartridge, tri-color ink cartridge, a two-in-one deal!

Convenient!

Take that mouse, move it around. Click. Move it some more. Click again. I've just ordered the "HP 56/57 Inkjet Print Combo Pack" without leaving my house. Heck--without leaving my chair! Convenient!

Price--Several dollars less than the local national chain store, plus time and gasoline to get there. Not only that but the postal service will deliver the combo pack right to my door! Convenient and cost- and time-effective! Great service!

So there you are! Quality, convenience, service. What's not to like?

Let's face it, THIS is the best ink you can buy for the manufacturers printer, being that the product was explicitly designed for their printer. Of course, it's ridiculously expensive, like most manufacturer's printer ink. One must wonder WHAT exactly it is they put in this ink. Is it from the rare endangered Printorical Squid painstakingly caught in the deepest depths of the Mariana trench?

Anyhow, 3 stars - 5 for great ink quality, 1 for price, averaged together for 3. - Ink Cartridge - Hp Ink Cartridge - Hp Ink - Printer Ink'

Car Battery Charger - smart charger, automotive

Very impressed so far. Used it to recondition 2 batteries and charge up 2 others and it has worked flawlessly. Never impressed with Black and Decker tools but I think they got it right this time. Time will tell and I would have given it 5 stars if it holds up for a few years. Black & Decker VEC1093DBD Smart Battery 40/20/10/4 Amp Battery Charger

This battery charger is very versatile and powerful for its size. I am a mechanic and it is nice to have all the features of a full size battery charger in a unit that will fit in my toolbox. Looks big, but is fairly lightweight. Highly recommended.

I bought this to trickle charge my car that I rarely drive. This battery has "Float Mode" that is supposed to do this. The instructions say it should go into this mode automatically after fully charging. I waited days but it never switched to Float Mode; meanwhile the built in fan is running 24/7. So I emailed B&D for help. The gal who replied, Barbara Barr, didn't know the product, and on top of it, insisted all new batteries, my Die Hard included, are Gel type. I went back and forth with her for days, telling her that a Sears battery dept head told me they only make Wet type. What's more, I can take the caps off the cells and see the liquid. She insisted it was a Gel type. I gave up on the online support and called the help number on the instructions. Nobody at their call center knew much about this charger. They set up a call back from someone at their headquarters. It took a couple of days to talk due to time differences. This man, Robert, was helpful and knew the product. The instructions should have explained that the charger switches to Float Mode only after the you first fully charged it, then left it hooked up while the battery slowly loses its charge. Once it falls below 12.6v then it should go into Float Mode. In this mode, as its topping up the charge, the fan comes on, but should go off in between. The design flaw is, the built in fan stays on 24/7 until the charge falls below 12.6v even if this takes weeks. The fan is to cool the CPU, but should only need that when the charger is charging and generating heat. It should have been programmed to turn the fan off while its waiting to go into float mode. Or, it should go into float mode immediately after it fully charges. Or, they could give you a manual switch to put it in float mode.

They could of had a good product. Its so close. Yet, its flawed. I'll keep it because there are no good alternatives in the same price range. But you have to tolerate the bad design.

I BROUGHT THIS BLACK&DECKER CHARGER NEW EIGHT MONTH AGO AND HAVE USED ALL FEATURES. MY MOTORCYCLE BATTERY WAS DEAD FOR SIX MONTHS TOOK IT IN FOR RECHARGE THEY TOLD ME NO GOOD, I PUT IT ON RECONDITION MODE 24 HR LATER LIKE NEW SAVED $125.00 STILL IN USE SIX MO. LATER, MY WIFE LEFT HER LIGHTS ALL NIGHT BATTER TOTALY DRAINED THE BATTERY 6 HRS LATER LIKE NEW.CHEV ASTRO VAN SAT FOR TWO WEEKS BATTERY NO GOOD AGAIN RECODITION MODE 24 HRS LATER LIKE NEW.OUTSTANDING PRODUCT. FOUR YEAR BATTERY IN MY GARAGE FOR 8 MONTHS WOULD NOT TAKE A GHARGE NO PROBLEM RECONDITION MODE 24 HRS LATER WORKS LIKE NEW. NABORS CAR WON`T START SET TO ENGIN START QUICK START SAID HE WAS GOINING DOWN TO GET NEW BATTER I TOLD HIM TO RECONDITION IT FRIST 24 HRS LATER THAT`S RIGHT LIKE NEW STILL 4 MONTH LATER. HAD IT RESTESTED AFTER THEY FRIST TOLD HIM TO GET A NEW ONE THEY SAID IT WAS AS GOOD AS NEW.

An earlier review by Carolyn incorrectly stated that this device can start your vehicle when stranded on the roadside. It does not. That review was intended for a "jump start" device. This battery charger is to recharge weak batteries with the supplied power cord plugged into a 120 volt outlet. The only normal way this device would be helpful for someone on the road is if a 120 volt gasoline generator was available. Search for a "jumpstart" auxilary battery device if you seek a roadside assistance device to start your stranded vehicle.

I purchased this to charge a pair of very large AGM deep cell batteries I have hooked in series. It took them from near zero to full charge in a bit over 4 hours, topping them off slowly and then automatically shut down... perfect. It's light, easy to use, the cables, clamps and case are robust and should take a lot of use without failure.

One other thing of note, if you plug it into a small gas generator, on 4 amp charge it won't even bring the generator off idle. This allows you to charge batteries, and also run household items off the generator at the same time. Perfect for cabin or RV solar systems on rainy cloudy days when the solar panels won't provide enough and no "plug" is available.

This is an excellent product that seems to do exactly what it is supposed to do and it does it well. Sturdy and easy to handle do to the relatively light weight (compare the weight of this charger to ones with the more conventional transformer design). On the 40 Amp setting it rapidly charged my trailer batteries without breaking a sweat and it didn't seem to mind running on generator power (even though there is a microprocessor inside). The User interface may seem a little odd but it's easy to get used to and the digital display is nice. Nice built-in pocket too for storing the power cord and charging "clips". I'm happy I returned the 20 Amp iron-heavy charger I had bought that wasn't doing the job and discovered and bought this one. Shop around, though, the price really varies.

I bought this charger from Amazon a little over a year ago and use it about once a month. The fan became raspy when starting after about nine months but would sound ok once it it got going. Now it has stopped altogether.

Interestingly, I was Googling this charger and "fan" and this Amazon review site popped up. I see it's happened to others as well. A fan failure after a bit over a year shows very poor quality, especially since mine is not an isolated incident. How many people had this problem but bought them elsewhere or who don't post reviews? And the warranty issues are as I would expect.

While I have the floor, my policy on warranties is: If the item is expensive or I don't trust it, I go to a big-box/any-local store where I can return it for 6 months, no matter what. Other than that, on the internet, there is no warranty. This item is inexpensive; I can try a Schumacher next.

There's no way I'm going to find a box, pack it, trudge to a shipper/P.O., pay to ship it, hope.

Anything I buy on the internet is a done deal.

As an engineer, I'm going to open mine up and see if I can find a similar fan on DigiKey.

If I find one (and think of it), I'll post it here. Be prepared to perform surgery.

I've seen previous posts stating that the fan is only to cool the CPU. I doubt it. As light as this is and the with amps it can deliver, this is obviously using switcher technology which definitely has actual heat sinks or, probably, cooling surfaces (still heat sinks). A transformer-based charger would weigh MUCH more. The CPU would probably be the last thing to fail and the power semiconductors or any copper would be more likely. But, no matter; if anything fails, it's toast.

Also, DO NOT USE THIS CHARGER ON Odyssey batteries. I tested the AGM mode and it does go over 15 volts, which will destroy an Odyssey battery. At hundreds of dollars each, losing an Odyssey hurts. I haven't lost any due to this charger (because I won't use it) but have lost two to solar chargers. The solar chargers will only supply 100mA (.1 amp) but they can reach 20 volts, open circuit, which is enough to ruin an Odyssey. This may also apply to Optima batteries sold in auto stores as they are also made by Hawker. Aside from an "equalizing", which requires a nail in a hole on this charger, I don't think ANY charger should EVER go over 14.5 volts. There's no point.

I concur with other comments about the fact that it won't even try on a completely dead battery. I can see needing SOME voltage to detect a reversed connection, but give a guy a chance. Just say "voltage too low" (or reword the instructions) rather than declaring the battery shot. And provide an override button. There are two ways around this. 1) Charge with a "dumb" charger or a trickle charger for a while or 2)(cumbersome but faster) Use jumper cables to connect a good battery in parallel and start charging immediately. Remove the good battery and recharge it later.

Also, their "recondition" mode (I forget what they call it) does nothing. Plus, it stops after a day or so (I forget that, too). I have two "zappers" (desulfators) that I built and they work very well. But they take a month, or two, or three; no way should a zapper stop after a day or two.

I built my own but Jaycar (Australia) has a very similar kit, with improvements over mine. If the B&D "reconditioner" didn't stop so soon, it might work, who knows? There's no way anything could work in less than a few weeks, other than a very mildly sulfated battery.

Also, I don't know what kind of voltages this charger uses in recondition mode, but mine, at 80-100 volts, can damage your car's radio, engine-computer, etc. To be safe, remove the battery from the car; do not "recondition" an in-vehicle battery.

I'll digress here (if I haven't already) ... desulfating:

Wet-cell batteries (with lead plates/honeycombs) develop a sulfate coating on the plates when left discharged for a period of time. (This is why you should put float chargers on wet-cell batteries, but there's a catch). Constant float charging will dehydrate your battery, no harm done. Just add DISTILLED water and you're back in business. I put mine on a 24-hour timer and run them for 1 hour out of every 24. Back to sulfated batteries: everything is perfect, good lead, good acid but the sulfate coating acts as an insulator that prevents charging/discharging (use). The most obvious indicator is that a very dead battery will reach a full-charge voltage very quickly, too quickly.

Even a trickle-charger will bring it to full voltage is minutes, if not seconds.

The zappers work by pulsing the battery with 80-100 volts for 50 microseconds 1000 times a second (every millisecond). The theory is that this causes the plates to vibrate (somehow, it's a mystery) and break off the sulfate coating. It does work but it's extremely slow. You can't desulfate the battery from your daily driver overnight. You must buy a new one and then desulfate the old one for non-critical use.

So, would I recommend this charger to a friend? No!

1) An early fan failure is not acceptable. This is just trash, considering it's happened to others.

If you don't know to listen for the fan, your unit will eventually emit acrid smoke. Game over.

If you listen and hear no fan, stop - pull the plug. If you can't replace the fan, game over.

If it weren't for the fan failure, I could live with this charger. I am severely peeved.

2) No charger should go over 14.5 volts for reasons noted above. Even Harbor Freight trickle

chargers are set at 13.5 volts. I like them and use them.

3) Any reconditioning, desulfating, zapping operation should continue until the user terminates it.

A day or two is ludicrous.

Last word: If you're in the 99.9% of users who don't use Odyssey batteries and don't need to

desulfate old batteries, this is a very useable product. UNTIL THE FAN DIES. - Battery - Car Battery Charger - Smart Charger - Automotive'

Strength Training - adjustable ankle weights, weight training

If you're looking around for some wrist/ankle weights, these are a good choice. Here's what I like the most about them:

-they're adjustable. This is clearly their best feature and saves you having to buy multiple weights of different increments. No need to buy a 1lb weight, then a 2lb weight, and then a 3 as you get stronger on an exercise- with these, you just take out or add what weight you need

-the price is comparable to other cuff weights and a cheap means overall of doing exercises where you need added weight

-they're portable enough that one could throw them in the car when traveling

For me, this is the way to go if you're looking for some cuff weights to go along with your home exercises. A word of caution- while it says "10 lb adjustable weights", that doesn't mean each cuff is 10 lbs- rather each cuff is a made up of five, 1lb cylinders for a total weight of 5 lbs for EACH cuff.

Good for general fitness or home physical therapy exercises, they're a great little product. Also recommend Treat Your Own Tennis Elbow for those looking for a good resource on tennis elbow. Valeo AW10 10-Pound Adjustable Ankle / Wrist Weights

I have also purchased weights called 'The Cuff' & another brand - but they don't compare to the Valeo weights. Not only can you remove individual weight packets from each weight attachment - but the entire design is SUPERIOR: Valeo weights close with a 'D' ring plus velcro straps, so the straps don't stick out (I wore a rubber band around the other designed weights to hold the strap down, lest it catch on something &/or come loose) & the Valeo's are SECURE & SAFE! They stay exactly where I put them around my ankles when I walk through brush, etc. The Valeo's don't twist or loosen, regardless of what I'm doing. I would recommend these over all the just 'wrap around velcro straps' closures, without the 'D' ring design, to everyone considering buying any wrist or ankle weights. Don't waste money on the inferior designs (that actually cost MORE!).

I'm male, 5ft-5in (165cm), 130lbs (60kg). I use these Valeo AW10 weight as ankle weights. I also have similarly designed weights which use cast iron inserts, but for use as ankle weights I prefer these Valeo weights, as the softer inserts are much more comfortable.

When tightened snugly against bare flesh, the 10-lb cast iron ankle weights dig painfully into the top of my foot, and the bones of my ankle. I also wear these Valeo weights "upside-down" so the thick bottom seam doesn't dig into my foot. (Don't worry... the inserts aren't going to "slip out".)

The Valeo AW10 weights fit me snugly enough, but I have them about as tight as they CAN be closed, and the smaller diameter of my ankles is probably similar to an average-sized female, so smaller women may have trouble with them slipping. I don't think anyone smaller than a large male could possibly use these as wrist weights.

Overall, I have been satisfied with the design and construction of these Valeo AW10 Ankle/Wrist weights.

These are terrible...once you take the "weight" out of the pocket, it's virtually impossible to put it back in...the strap broke after i used it twice, and the actual removable weight leaks some disgusting black stuff that got all over my floor...not recommended at all!

I am a cross country runner. In the midst of the season, I decided to get into 5:30 min a mile speed.

In order to do so, I decided on an ankle weight purchase that could help build both strength and stamina.

For my ankle, these are very nice.

---Comfort---

I do not know why people are saying that this is uncomfortable.

Material feels like that of a North Face vest. It feels nice and I feel great jogging with them although

I had to get used to the feeling of extra weight.

---Weight Adjustment---

Adjusting weight is little bit tedious but not as bad as some review points out.

Only thing that bothered me was the strong stickyness of the wrapping belt? which I had a hard time trying to open.

Weights were consisted of sand material, thus, pulling it out and putting it back wasn't that difficult to do.

HOWEVER, I must point out that when you are adjusting weight to 2~4 pounds, you must make sure you positioned it on your ankle so that

it feels balanced. Otherwise, it will feel unbalanced and will move during running in terrains.

---Wrist...---

This is not a wrist weight. You must buy a wrist weight if you want to use it for your wrist.

You could wrap around your wrist, but it will feel awkward.

Also, you cannot have five pound on your wrist because unless your arm is big as body builders, it will not fit in your wrist.

I have a decent sized forearm and four lbs was the maximum weight I was able to tightly fit on my wrist section of forearm.

---Overall Conclusion---

This is a good buy and probably one of the best bang for the buck weights.

Quality feels durable and I felt like I would purchase this product again.

However, I gave it a four star due to poor description (each weight is 5lbs/pair not 10lbs/pair)

and poor usability as a wrist weight.

For ankle weights, this is perfect for any type of trainers, athlete, or regular exercising.

While these weights are okay (and not all that uncomfortable), the write-up and information is very misleading. The weights are billed as 1-5 pound adjustable. There are actually 1/2 pound weight packets and to get 5 pounds you have to wear both belts at one time. Each weight is 2 1/2 pounds max. I was looking for 1-5 pounds for each ankle and this isn't it. If the description had been more accurate, I would have ordered other weights. - Adjustable Ankle Weights - Fitness - Weight Training - Weights'

Ipod Accessories - earphones, headphones

I ordered this Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic a few days ago because of the very low price, and because of Amazon's reputation as a trusted retailer. This order was fulfilled by a third part retailer - The OEM Shop.

The Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic arrived a few days after I placed my order. The Apple packaging and instructions were not included in the manila envelope from The OEM Shop. There was also no printed receipt included within the manila envelope. The only thin that was included in the manila envelope from The OEM Shop was the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic.

When I tried to use the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic, the play/pause button did not function properly. And, when the mic was used in the recording of audio and video, there was static in both recordings. Although the price for this item was low, it was not woth it because the product does not work as it should.

Amazon's description for this item is "Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic (NEWEST VERSION) Retail Packaging] by Apple." The item that I received is not as Apple would sell it. And Amazon should not sell it like this either, even if it is through a third party retailer. I made this purchase because of Amazon's reputation as a trustworthy retailer.

If you're interested in the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic, I recommend buying it from Apple. If Amazon wants to be known as a reputable retailer, they should discontinue their partnerships with dishonest third party retailers like The OEM Shop. Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic (NEWEST VERSION)[Retail Packaging]

I initially bought these because I really wanted a microphone for my iPod touch, and the remote seemed like an added bonus. However, they arrived with the remote split in half. It snapped back together fine, and I ignored it despite the fact that I had to tape it together (it still worked). But within a few weeks, the cord cover ripped free of the plug, leaving exposed wiring. They continued to work fine, good audio quality, etc, until a month or so ago when the left earphone stopped working. Now I can only listen in the right ear or I have to stretch and bend the cord in odd angles to make the left earbud work. Definitely not worth the price. All I have to say is either they are a really bad knock-off or Apple has gotten cheap.

NOTE! BUY FROM AMAZON! DO NOT BUY FROM THIRD PARTY SELLERS!

I trust Amazon. Though the headphones are more expensive if you buy from them, they are genuinely Apple. The sound quality could use some improvement. The basses are weak and the highs aren't the clearest. However, they work pretty well as casual use headphones and terribly as exercise headphones. Sweat easily gets in the remote and causes it to stop functioning. Use with caution when exercising. Using the remote is dead simple. Volume up, volume down, and center button. Click center once for play/pause music, twice to skip forward, three times to go back, and hold for voice control [if on newer iPhones (will it work for iPod touches?)]. It is very convenient for answering/making calls. The microphone yields good quality talking and listening is clear. The connector part of the microphone has changed from weak rubber to a hard plastic. However, the cord can still easily be pulled out.

I would say these are decent headphones. They're good for calls and some music listening. Just be sure to buy it from Amazon and not a someone selling their product in the Marketplace.

Quick Note: If the product is not genuinely Apple, then don't rate the headphones. The bad reviews due to fake headphones are creating an incorrect rating. Instead, rate the seller lowly, ask for a refund, and buy the headphones from your Apple store, Target, Best Buy, Amazon (with Amazon.com as the seller), etc.

Hi,

These head phones stink. I have never seen a product from Apple this bad. Are they even Apple; I don't think so. Don't buy these head phones. To be smart, spend the extra 15 bucks and buy it from Apple.com.

I bought these from the Apple Store here in town after the pair of phones that came with my ipod (touch) broke, the sound quality seemed alright but not great. The problem with them however was just overall shoddy construction, the phones barely held together and ultimately the jack snapped off after less than two months of ownership after being dropped about a foot and a half onto carpet. - Headphones - Earphones - Ipod Accessories - Earbuds'

Rachael Ray Cookware - grill pan, grill pans

I bought the pan because I was in the market for a griddle type pan, and I was really interested in the new oval shapes in cookware. I enjoy Rachael Ray's show and follow quite a few of her recipes, and that orange trim really caught my eye, so I bought it.

Other than the fact that I wish the handle were on the shorter end rather than centered at the widest point, (because maneuvering can be tricky unless you have a huge rangetop), I'm pleased with the way it cooks. I'm lucky enough with a large enough kitchen that I can leave it out, because it's rather eye-catching, (I bought the saute' pan too, with the lid) and I find myself using it more and more often. It's great for searing. I made wonderful porkchops last night. I recommend it if you don't want to spend a fortune, but still want those nice grill marks in a pan.

I actually bought this pan on extreme impulse...to make a flank steak philly cheesesteak something-or-other that I caught on the Rachel Ray show (demonstrated on this very pan,of course). The size is unique and very useful for long cuts of meat or to set things off to the side like a real grill. It is truly non-stick and cleans up very easily. It's heavy gauge, even-cooking, and decently priced. I find Rachel a little annoying to listen to generally...but I'm glad I listened to her this time!

Rachael Ray's recent cookbook has "orange" in the title, because, as she puts it, it's her favorite color. This grill pan, as one might guess, has a characteristic orange handle.

But the key point is simple: this works pretty well. Once the weather gets colder, I begin to use grill pans a lot more. For small jobs, I have a nice 10 inch circular grill pan. But when I have to grill chicken or pork chops or fish for several people, that pan just doesn't do the trick. And there is where Ray's grill pan comes into play.

My recipes for grilled chicken and fish for three (or sometimes four) people calls for a larger grill pan. The oval pan here is just the ticket. I put it over two burners (maybe I'm sinning in doing this) and grill the food. The end result is pretty good. The nonstick surface seldom leads to what's being grilled sticking (some nonstick surfaces aren't nonstick!).

All in all, then, I really appreciate this grill pan. If my experience is typical, then this is something that those wanting a good grill pan might think of acquiring.

I was very disappointed in this grill pan and would never buy any other Rachel Ray cookware. First of all there was a flaw in the non-stick coating which chipped the first time I washed it, by hand with a soft non abrasive sponge. I exchanged it and didn't have that problem with the second one but if I still had the package I would just get a refund.

There is a really strong chemical smell when it's heating up. Kind of smells like fresh paint or something which isn't real appetizing when you're trying to cook a meal. This does seem to be getting better the more it's used, or maybe I'm getting used to it. With the oval shape it obviously hangs over the stove's burner some, which would be fine but it doesn't conduct heat evenly. I usually put either 4 chicken breasts or 4 pork chops in it and I have to rotate them because the ones in the middle will burn while the outer ones are raw. For a family of 4 this is a good size, just poor quality. Another thing that could have been better is the ease of cleaning. Where the grill ridges meet the bottom of the pan should have been more rounded, mine gets build up in the creases which has to be scraped out with something like a toothpick. I do love the idea of a grill pan and would use it all the time if I had a decent one. Very disappointing!

This is my first rachel ray pan, and I am in love. If the rest of my pans weren't in such good shape, I'd buy the whole set! I love how easy it is to clean. I love how you can easily fit 3 reasonably sized steaks/chicken cutlets. A must have for any cook!

This nonstick oval grill pan is absolutely the best thing I have ever bought for my kitchen. It's big enough so that I can place it over two burners if I want to. And, I could not believe how easy it was to clean; most of the food residue comes off under running water. I highly recommend this grill. If I had to get rid of every pot in my kitchen and just keep one, this would be it. Handheld Games - nintendo 3ds, nintendo

UPDATE: Now with a good game lineup on the horizon (Mario Kart, Paper Mario, Star Fox, Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario, Kid Icarus, and a few more), the release of several features such as the virtual store and Netflix, and most importantly, the big $80 price cut, I have decided to bump this review up to a 4 star (originally 3). Verdict: The games are arriving and the system is starting to have a bright future. If you want the games currently available, go out and buy it now; you won't be disappointed and by the time you get through the current games, a new wave of games should be released. If the current games (Star Fox, Ocarina of Time, etc) only mildly have your interest, save your money until some more games come out. If you really are patient and wait maybe a year (just a guess), Nintendo may roll out a new 3DS (light, xl, or something) presumably with better battery life and maybe in a sleeker package. If you've been dying to get the system, by all means go out and get it. If you truly need battery life better than the average of 4 hours or so, then I suggest waiting; however, over time I've learned that the battery life is livable and you get used to it. (You could even buy a 3rd party battery life extender like I did.) With a price cut and growing game library, the 3DS has never looked so good. ~~~~~

Bought the system before August 12th at $250? 20 Free games for you!

~~~~~If you bought a 3DS at $250, Nintendo appreciates you for being an early adopter and is giving you 20 free games to ease your pain. An $80 price cut is huge, especially since the system has only been out in the US for under 5 months - so, we early buyers took a big hit. You get 10 NES (Nintendo Entertainment System from the '80s) games on September 1st, and 10 GBA (Gameboy Advance, the predecessor of the Nintendo DS) games "by the end of this year." It's awesome Nintendo is doing this, but remember to be eligible to get the 20 free games, you have to visit the 3DS virtual store at least once before August 12th to "prove" to Nintendo you bought the system at $250. Please don't forget to do this (actually, just do it now)!! I'll take the free games, but I wish I had waited to buy the system at $169. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
New Short Review
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The 3DS is now looking to be a great system at a much more affordable price point - the only problem is the short battery life and a few other minor complaints (online friend codes, low quality camera, etc)1. 3DS launched with very few games, and now a few good ones like Ocarina of Time have come out. E3 announced many good games which we'll see soon. The lineup is still pretty lackluster and many of the upcoming games are remakes of older ones, but at least it's a step in the right direction. Hopefully, we'll see some 3rd party developers make some good and new content.

2. 3DS has poor battery life. The console lasts somewhere between 3 and 5 hours depending on if you turn on WiFi or 3D and how high you keep the brightness and volume. There's also a power saver mode that supposedly saves battery. 3-5 hours is pretty low. It will be enough if you just want to play for a little while or are at home, but it certainly won't work for a road trip or vacation. The DS Lite could crank out close to 15 hours with the brightness turned down. The 3DS battery life is upsetting and badly limits its portability. Over time, you learn to live with it and it's not as bad as many people rage about. You could get a 3rd party battery pack which doubles the battery life and does wonders.

3. The 3D effect in most games are used just to add depth. Some games like Ridge Racer use the 3D effect to makes things pop out of the screen at you, but many don't. Some games like Ocarine of Time make good use of the 3D allowing you to properly judge distances and aim, but many other games just tack it on and doesn't add to (and sometimes even hinders) gameplay.

4. Online play is still plagued by annoying friend codes. I wish Nintendo would let us make a username that's the equivalent of gamertags or PSN IDs. Instead we have to enter a long string of digits to add someone as a friend. Inconvenient and makes online matchmaking much more annoying.

5. DS games are a bit awkward to play as they are either stretched looking blurry/pixelated or the only occupy a small box leaving a black border around the game. This is because the 3DS and DS have different resolutions. So, playing DS games on the 3DS is less than ideal. (Hey, I'm glad we at least got backwards compatibility!)

6. Minor complaint: The 3DS is slightly bigger than the DS Lite. You would expect the new 3DS to be sleeker and smaller than the DS Lite from 2006. I understand the 3DS is more powerful, but I still would have liked it thinner.

7. Minor complaint: The 3D camera on the 3DS is really bad. My celllphone takes better quality pictures (just not in 3D). Don't expect to use this camera after the first day when you're checking out all of the features. Conclusion: DS was one of my favorite systems with great 3rd party developer support. Hopefully, the 3DS will see the same kind of success and get great games from developers other than Nintendo (not that Nintendo games are bad or anything). I love my 3DS and know it will be an awesome system in the future when more people buy it and better games come out. Thankfully, there are plenty of good games coming in the near future. Combined with the lower price, all we have left is the bad battery life. You know Nintendo is going to release a new 3DS with better battery life and probably slimmer sometime in the future (think GBA Advance to SP / DS to DS Lite). My honest advice: WAIT FOR THAT! I remember I really wanted the original DS (the original "phat" one), but eventually I bought the DS Lite when it came out. I paid less and got a way better system. Every company releases a new model of their system - Nintendo usually does it 16-24 months after the original release, which would probably pit a new 3DS sometime between July 2012 and March 2013. It seems like a long time, but if you can wait, I'm sure it'll be worth it and you'll only have missed a half-dozen good games or so (which is not much compared to what will be released). If you can't wait, go out and buy the 3DS now and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.Bottom Line: The game library is improving and the 3DS has never looked so good. We still have the lingering battery life problem, but at a lower price this system is worth every penny. If you are patient and can wait a year or so for a new 3DS revision probably with better battery life and maybe some new features. I explain all of this in much, much more detail below. So, check out the original review for the complete picture. ~~~~~~~~~~

Virtual Store, Netflix, and Browser

~~~~~~~~~~
The originally promised features have finally been released! You can use the virtual store to purchase and download older games as well as some little games (similar to Wiiware or DSiWare games). I got some of the free stuff like a free 3D Pokedex and the free titles were OK, and most importantly, FREE. Setting up Netfix was a breeze as well, you just log in with your email/password like you always do. Boom you're in - search, browse genres, or select something from your instant queue. The internet browser worded well too and gets you to webpages, but you can't view Flash content. Remember for all of these features, you need to have WiFi connection.
Original Review for 3DS @ Launch LONG REVIEW )
~~~~~~~Please, before you give me your hate, listen to what I have to say. Please don't immediately judge me as a "Nintendo hater" or simply down-vote my review. I have owned every Nintendo system since SNES, both handheld and home console, and love Nintendo products. I just want to bring to your attention some of the cons that almost every other reviewer has down-played or brushed aside. I have been using the system since the midnight release, playing a few different games, and testing the various features. I truly am amazed by the augmented reality and potential for the device. However, I cannot ignore some of the negatives and have compiled a list of cons.1) On average, I get about 4 to 4 and a half hours with my 3DS with 3D off, wifi off, 1/3 volume, and 2 of 5 brightness. It takes about three hours to fully charge and the battery gets used up very quickly while playing 3DS games (Nintendo reports official charge time as 3.5 hours). The first time I played I had slightly over 3 hours of battery life playing at full brightness, 3D on, and max volume as it was my first time playing the system and I was still in the "oooh, aaaah" stage. After taking a break and letting it charge, I played it again, but this time on medium brightness, wifi off, and volume on medium. The battery was still shy of 4 hours. After that, I just began playing while the system charged. Compared to the DS Lite's 10 hour+ battery life, this is a bit disappointing. I understand that the 3DS needs to have extra brightness to produce 3D and requires more processing power, and therefore takes up more battery juice, but I still would like to see at least 6 hours. So, don't expect to be using this on a long flight or road trip. The good news is there are some 3rd party accessories being released to address this issue such as a Nintendo 3DS Travel Charging Dock with Rechargeable Internal Battery and an extended battery pack. The extended battery pack by Nyko (the one I mentioned earlier), called the "Power Pak," has been getting great praise by early reviews. It raises the 3DS battery life to about 5.5 hours on full brightness, 3D on, wifi on and all the way to 9 hours on lowest brightness, 3D off, wifi off. The only con about this is that it increases the 77mm thickness of the system to roughly 95mm and costs $20. If a bit of extra bulk isn't a problem for you, and you have $20 to spare, this could be a great option.Tips on long battery life: Turn WiFi off when you don't need it. Lower the screen brightness as much as possible. Turn "Power Saving" mode on. Lower the volume as much as possible or use headphones. Turning 3D off also saves battery. Doing these things can help you squeeze another hour of battery life out of your 3DS. 2) The library of games for the 3DS is still quite and was somewhat disappointing on launch day, but this to be expected of a new system. Of the several launch games I played, the most interesting were Super Street Fighter, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, and Pilot Wings. Furthermore, of the games I listed, Pilot Wings looked great, but was sadly short as I have already beaten all of the missions in four hours or so. Many review sites have been praising Steel Diver as well. I personally didn't find it too fun, but it is a unique game and I can acknowledge it being one of the better 3DS launch titles. However, as time passed we are starting to see great games like the Ocarina of Time and we are sure to see some notable release in a few months such as Kid Icarus, Star Fox, Super Mario, Luigi's Mansion, etc. Most consoles are burdened with this problem at launch; this won't be a problem in the long-run. In my opinion, it's ultimately the games that define the console and the console itself is just a medium to play the games. the DS had one of the best game libraries of all time and the 3DS is sure to follow suit. Within a year or two, we'll see a rocking game library that'll demand us to buy the console. There are many great games on the horizon, and Ocarina of Time is already out, which is by far the best game on the 3DS at the moment. E3 revealed nearly a dozen promising games that all will come out with a year's time! The 3DS library is going to be great soon. 3) 3D effect. For the most part, the 3D effect doesn't really have objects flying at your face making you jump like the 3D in amusement park rides. (UPDATE: However, some developers are indeed using this pop-out effect, but it is used sparingly.) It really only shows you more depth as in you can tell a mountain in Pilot Wings is further in the distance than the plane your flying, or overlays such as the time, score, etc are infront of the objects in the game. It took me a few hours to find my "3D sweet spot" as I tried to balance the distance I should keep the 3DS from my face and how high I should raise the depth slider. And this sweet spot changes from game to game, so you'll need to tinker with the viewing distance and depth slider until you find what's best for you. Honestly, even though "3D" is in the name of the system, it doesn't add a whole lot in terms of gameplay. And to add to this, it's very hard to stay in your "3D sweetspot" while playing games that take advantage of the gyroscope. In the included AR games, there is a game called archery in which you place a card on a desk and the 3DS will simulate some targets to hit. To hit these targets you will need to walk around and hit them from different angles. It's actually quite fun and one of the better AR card games. The only problem is that while you're moving around to hit the targets from a different angle, you shift a bit out of the "3D sweetspot" and lose the 3D effect causing a little of trouble for your brain and some eye strain. So, for most games using the gyroscope such as the AR card game archery or even the game Face Raiders, unfortunately, it's better played with the 3D off. The 3D mode really only works well for games that you can sit still and play because the viewing angle for the 3D effect is very small. To avoid eye strain, dizziness, head aches etc, only use the 3D mode when you are stationary, and tinker with the depth slider to find what's right for you. At first, I thought keeping the slider anywhere short of max meant that I was missing out on the full possible 3D experience. I was horribly mistaken: everyone experiences 3D differently and will need to discover (and stay within) their "3D sweet spot." Update: Initially, the 3D effect amazed me and I kept playing with it on whenever I wasn't moving or playing a game that needed the gyroscope. However, after about 30 hours or so of playing with the system, the initial amazement subsided, and I am playing games the ol' fashion way in 2D mode. A classmate of mine who is also a 3DS owner agreed with me on this as he also reverted to 2D mode. To me, the 3D is like a topping to ice cream, rather than the ice cream itself; you don't have to add it, but for some people, it can make it much better (and for other worse). Update: I have demoed the 3DS to about 50 friends and classmates, and most were shocked at, sometimes even in disbelief of, the quality of the 3D and the AR games. Although, maybe 5 or so complained about headaches/eye strain, even after they tried re-adjusting the depth slider. Another person I know who bought the system had eye strain and headaches initially, but after a few days "adapted" to the 3D and feels nothing now. What does all this mean? I suppose we all just handle 3D differently. Maybe for some 3D is an "acquired sight."(Update: A commenter told me that in the game Lego Star Wars III, there are objects that fly out of the screen. I cannot confirm as I did not purchase this game. However, from my own experience I can say that Pilot Wings, Super Street Fighter IV, Ghost Recon, FaceRaiders, and the bundled mini games (AR card games and mii games) do not have this effect. Instead, they have a layered look where some things are slightly in front of or on the screen and other things are further "behind the screen.")

(Further Update: It seems like the 3D effect is indeed capable of popping out of the screen. It is seen in Nintendogs, Ridge Racer, and many other titles. It seems like developed are limitedly using the 3D pop out effect and reserving it for special moments in the game. Maybe this is to help prevent head-aches and nauseousness caused by 3D. Thanks for all the comments pointing this out!)4) This is just a minor complaint. The cameras on the 3DS take pictures of pretty low quality. Obviously the system wasn't meant to be used to replace a conventional camera, but it's worth noting that the 3D camera is more of a novelty than a practical device. In fact, most smart phones will take pictures of better quality (without 3D though, of course). I don't think anybody actually was planning on using the 3DS as a full-fledged camera. 5) This is just another minor gripe, but the 3DS is a just a tiny bit bigger than the DS Lite. Looking at the two, they look almost identical in size and to simplify things we can even say they are the same size, but the specs show the 3DS to be a fraction bigger. The DS Lite and 3DS are by no means large, but I wish Nintendo would have made the new system a little more "pocket-friendly" and slimmer (not as thick). The 3DS fits in my pockets fine, but a sleeker and thinner design (with the same size screens) would have been appreciated. 6) DS emulation. First off, I am extremely happy the 3DS emulates DS games. I'm glad Nintendo kept that feature. There just is one small problem with the emulation, because of the difference is resolution between the 3DS and the DS, either the emulated games will appear smaller, or stretched out. Both of which look a bit awkward. It's great Nintendo added DS emulation and it's not necessarily Nintendo's fault for the problem. It's just something you should be aware of if you plan on using your 3DS to play DS games. I don't consider this a con as GBA is quite old now, but if anyone was wondering, there is no cartridge slot for gameboy advance games. 7) Online play and friend codes. Nintendo is still using friend codes! If you aren't familiar with Nintendo's online play, it works by assigning each player a long string of digits (12 in the case of the 3DS)and forces friends to enter each other's friend codes to play together online. This is only a one time process but is highly annoying. On the XBOX 360, PS3, and PC, online play is handled by giving players a user ID which can then be used to add friends and online match-making. One theory why is that Nintendo is trying to protect younger users by making it more difficult to add strangers as friends. Really, in my opinion, it makes online play a hassle. Rather than calling up a friend and saying "Hey, add me as a friend. My name is 'Killer_Juice'," you would have to say "My friend code is 4682-8452-5268." There is also a status message that you can write, however, it is severely limited because it has a character limit of 25. There's really not much you can say in 25 characters. Now all these complaints boil down to one thing: cost. At the moment, I really don't feel this system is worth the price tag of $250. Given the lackluster game lineup and rather poor battery life, I don't think there is a need to buy 3DS at this point. Some features such as the Nintendo Shop and the internet browser won't even be released until May. In my honest opinion, I would recommend waiting until a new revision is released, or at least until some better games come out. Nintendo usually releases a newer version of a console about a year and half after the original release. Although Nintendo hasn't officially said anything to support a new 3DS, I am willing to bet that a new 3DS will be released in the not too distant future that will pack better battery life, a slimmer form (not as thick), new colors, and whatever other cool stuff Nintendo throws our way. As time passes, technology only gets better and better; Nintendo will definitely be able to improve upon the system and release a revision. My guess is around Summer or Holiday 2012, but that is purely speculation. Don't get me wrong: I do like the system and I was astounded by the augmented reality games (Face Raiders, AR Shot, and Archery in particular). I simply believe that for most people, there is no reason to buy the console right now. The system is great; it just faces a few limitations (mainly battery life) that can be addressed by Nintendo in a new revision. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Conclusion: I don't want to sound overly-negative about the system. The DS was one of the best systems with a great library of games. If you have the money to spend, the 3DS will surely not disappoint with 3D, augmented reality, improved graphics and screen resolution, and all the good stuff we've come to love from the original DS. However, if buying the system is a financial stretch or you are content with what you have right now, I would advise waiting until a new revision is released (which is bound to happen) or at least until some better games are made. Soon enough, we will start seeing some great 3DS games that take full advantage of the system's hardware, and hopefully a 3DS that packs a longer battery and maybe slimmer too. Who knows, we might even get a 3DS XL. One thing I will reemphasize is that a console is defined by its games. Nintendo handhelds always get great games and within a few years, the 3DS will have a massive software library filled with many great "must have" titles. They system is just a medium to enjoy the games; the games are the things that matter most. I don't regret buying my system at all, because I know some great games will be released soon and the 3DS will have a great pool of games to chose from.

Feel free to leave me a comment, ask a question, or voice or your opinion. I will try to respond as quickly as possible. I'm willing to discuss my standpoint with anybody. So, rather than just clicking "unhelpful", please comment your opinion and we can talk about it. I will continue updating this review as I use the system more and more. I don't write many reviews, but when I do, I actually put several hours of effort into them and continue adding to them months after the original publish date. ~~

Update: There have been some reports of the 3DS being unable to play games and reaching a screen that is unofficially called the "black screen of death." Furthermore, people have complained about hinge problems not keeping the top screen in place. In fact, my top screen has also had a bit of a wobble to it, but I don't think it wobbles enough to warrant me exchanging it. The great news is that Nintendo is willing to replace these defective units by following a fairly quick procedure on their website. Ipod Touch 4g Case - bundle, ipod accessories

I purchased this bundle package and an item was missing from the package. (USB Plug Extension) Also, the AC car adapter did not work with my ipod as advertised. The quality of the products are very cheap and to my opinion not even worth the cheap price that the bundle sales for. Ok. I said no big deal you get what you pay for and I was willing to take the lost. However, after leaving feed back that an item was defective and one was missing, the saler (DigitalsOnDemand) tried to resolve the matter by offering a refund and to ship the product that was missing providing that I remove the negative feed back. Well guess what? I removed the feed back and they didnt live up to their end of the bargan. Its been weeks and still no reshipment of the item promised and no refund.

Dont waste your time with this company they will only let you down in the end!

it's all good stuff for the price. different cases (clear, black, etc) some apple cables (with a typo on the power plug -- might be cast-offs from product assurance that still meet usable specs) -- sure beats paying 30 - 40 dollars for just that charger at target / best buy / the mac store! and the cases that are 20 - 40 at those same stores, you get those with this too. i didn't need the aux cable or the splitter or the headphones, but everything else is great. i didn't have any problems with my retractable or the power charger or car charger like one of the other reviews had. i was really glad to find this whole bundle for that cost too, since i had just bought a 15 dollar car charger at the office supply store a week before (unopened, so returned).

One of the charging cables didn't work. The retractable cable didn't retract. The protective screen cleaner left lint on the glass screen. On the other hand, if you're a n00b who doesn't know what to really get for an iTouch *and* you can't find an accessory assortment for a cheaper price, start here. The assortment has the basics, and even comes with four very different slips / cases for your iTouch, so you can find out which style's the best for you. I think what I liked best about this product is that I didn't have to waste all that (bleeping) time clicking and shopping and browsing for four or five different iTouch accessories. I'd rather spend time on my iTouch, than shop for accessories for it.

I read the reviews of this product after I ordered it. If I had read it first, I would have never ordered anything from these people. I was hoping that it was just a coincidence that these people had defective items and was hoping that I would actually get something that was brand new and worked. NOTHING WORKED THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO WORK just like the people who wrote negative reviews. I have since filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and I am demanding a refund and new equipment that works and it brand new like advertised. That was a lie that we what received was new. There are pathetic.DigitalsOnDemand 15-Item Accessory Bundle for New Apple iPod Touch iTouch 4G 4th Gen Generation 8GB 32GB 64GB

i have this 15 items for a month, and everything are still in good condition. i love the crystal case its not hard, but its not soft, its like a hard rubber so its unbreakable, i like the lcd protector its easy to use and it is reusable, coz i tried to remove and wash it still the same and sticky, so if it has bubbles or some dirt just wash it and air dry. all electronic gadgets is working especially the chargers. leather case is of course synthetic, and decent enough. I RECOMMEND THIS TO YOU !!! but i purchased this for only $29.99 only, now they have increase a lot... :(

I bought this item for myself mainly for the car/wall charger. I got the item yesterday and was instantly happy with the purchase. The only thing in the bundle im worried about is the flip case. Reason is it has magnets that hold the flip part down and im afriad if an ipod is in the case for to long it might erase the hard drive.

Buy this bundle!

Having bought a similar kit for the previous generation iPod, I thought I knew what to expect. I am really impressed with this kit though. The headphones actually have good bass response, not to mention have the mic too, meaning I actually have a decent pair of headphones in case something happens to the originals that came with the ipod.

The "pleather" case fits snug, and the clip allows for easy access (which is nice for those spur of the moment quick photos you might want to take). The cases are great compared to some of the more expensive brands available at large department stores.

Must say, this was well worth the money to me. Good buy. - Screen Protector - Case - Ipod Accessories - Bundle'

DigitalsOnDemand 15-Item Accessory Bundle for New Apple iPod Touch iTouch 4G 4th Gen Generation 8GB 32GB 64GB DigitalsOnDemand 15-Item Accessory Bundle for New Apple iPad 2 2nd Gen 2G Tablet / Wifi 3G model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB (2nd Generation)

it's all good stuff for the price. different cases (clear, black, etc) some apple cables (with a typo on the power plug -- might be cast-offs from product assurance that still meet usable specs) -- sure beats paying 30 - 40 dollars for just that charger at target / best buy / the mac store! and the cases that are 20 - 40 at those same stores, you get those with this too. i didn't need the aux cable or the splitter or the headphones, but everything else is great. i didn't have any problems with my retractable or the power charger or car charger like one of the other reviews had. i was really glad to find this whole bundle for that cost too, since i had just bought a 15 dollar car charger at the office supply store a week before (unopened, so returned).

The better business bureau says that I definitely have a claim and i don't care if I have to pay a ton of money, so be it. These people need to be shut down. I had the same guide for the D-Lux 4 and decided to get this one when I got my D-Lux 5 after looking at the content preview. It really is a different book, addressing a different camera. I love the author's simple way to describing everything. Simple in the way he explains, but don't get me wrong, he doesn't leave out anything here. Wonderful book. Recommend for everyone except advanced photographers. Photographer's Guide to the Leica D-Lux 5: Getting the Most from Leica's Compact Digital Camera

I agree with P. Li's review. This is an excellent book that gives very useful information about the D-Lux 5. But I think the book is useful even to advanced photographers who may not know all the features of the D-Lux 5. I am a professional photographer and normally use Leica Ms. But I do not want to travel with them. Without this book, I would not learned about all the features of the camera that aren't covered in the manual. I highly recommend this.

The first, really only important question to answer is "why spend the bucks to buy this book?"

The Leica D-Lux5 comes boxed with a nicely designed, easy to understand, clearly written instructional manual. A CD inside the box contains a more comprehensive guide to your new top-of-the-line point-and-shoot. So why throw around $25 when you already have more than you probably want to read about your camera and how to use it?

The answer is because chances are you're an amateur photographer and you want to take the best pictures you can and feel comfortable that you're getting the most out of your Leica - and believe me there are a lot of gizmos and gadgets, features and functions, tightly packed in that sleek black metal case to get to know about and get used to.

The first time I picked up my new camera and checked it out, I saw an awful lot that meant little to me. The switch on the top is simple and anyone can figure out that it turns the camera on and then off. But the top of the camera also has the lever that controls the optical zoom. The back of the camera has nine buttons and a wheel, all controlling at least one but usually more functions. A door on the bottom opens into the heart of the camera and has slots for memory and battery.

Four little pinholes on the bottom let sound in. The side of the camera has a portal for the cables and cords that connect the camera to the outside world, your computer and television. All of that is on the outside where you can see it. It's the thought of all that's crammed inside that causes all the angst, at least for this Leica noob (me).

Alexander White's guidebook has the answer to what all these dials, levers, settings and switches do and how do they interplay to take really great snapshots. Guiding you through the various functions and settings in a comprehensive way is what the book is really good at.

There are nine chapters, one for each menu and mode. The book starts simply with basic information about the camera setup and basic operations such as focus, exposure, flash and viewing pictures. Things then get a little more complex. There are sections on settings for portraiture, scenery, night portraiture, picturing food and even a section on photographing parties and taking shots by candlelight. And all those mini-tutorials are in the first three chapters.

You can stay to the basics or you can dig deep and learn about the camera's O.I.S. (optical stabilization system) mode using an in-camera demo. It's more than I want to know but maybe you're into that type of thing.

The section most useful to me personally, gave me instructions on macro shooting, capturing images in extreme closeup where the subject is shown actual size, in a 1:1 ratio, flowers, bugs and other things minature.

The camera it seems can do almost anything to do with image and light and it's my guess there's a section of the book dealing with your particular topic and with many of the topics you've never thought about or imagined.

If you want to feel confident that you're taking advantage of all the technology packed into your sleek, classy black camera with the classic red dot, my advice is buy the book. You'll get a return on your $25 investment in just a couple better-informed clicks of the shutter. That electronic manual that comes with the camera, go ahead and delete it. With your copy of the "Photographer's Guide to the Leica D-Lux 5," you've got things covered and in focus.

I bought this book as the Kindle download for my iPad. I read it in a couple of nights. The author does a great job of explaining the various functions and features of the LX5. However, I wish that he had delved more into HIS settings, and WHY he chose those particular ones.

Overall, compared to the manual that comes with the camera, this is an excellent value. I find myself referring back to it over and over again to find certain features and functions. His clear, concise explanations make it easy to follow along whenever you wish to make a change, or modify your settings.

I do recommend this book if you are serious about learning about all the features of your little gem of a camera. - Leica - Lumix - Lx5 - Photography'
