Got this as an extra touchstone charging base. I was worried I misinterpreted the description but it came as I expected. Touchstone base, US AC charger and USB cable. The palm touchstone charging dock was all it was advertised to be. I find it to be very easy to connect. Just lay the phone on top and instantly you are charging. Delivery was slower than expected, but the product was worth the wait.
Have trouble with phone on charger when fully charged the phone turns on and starts beeping. They gave me a return number but I decided to keep it. It's in my office so no problem taking of Touchstone when fully charged. Purchased another one that works correctly for home. These are great and a big plus to have.
I became concerned that what I was ordering wasn't what I was going to get when I read another review and the price seemed too good to be true ($20 versus $70 from Palm). However, what I got was as described. The Touchstone, cable & plug were all still wrapped in plastic and in the original box. The box has a couple tears on it, but I think it is was due to the odd shaped box and not because it was opened. The box was taped closed and it looked untouched. It charges my phone just fine. Everything on the box was written in English and French, so perhaps this was originally destined for overseas, but the plug is a US plug. Maybe a manufacture/packaging mistake and that is why it is being resold or perhaps it is a refurb. It works, so I'm happy.
