Wireless Optical Mouse - wireless optical mouse, notebook mouse

We ordered this Connectland wireless mouse from Amazon.com using standard shipping on Monday the 7th and received it on Thursdy the 10th! Wow - that's FAST!!! I took it out of the package, put in the two included AAA batteries, plugged the TINY USB receiver into my computer, turned on the mouse and VIOLA!!! Instantly connected! No pushing buttons to get synced, it's already setup to automatically connect. It's a 5 button mouse so comes with the usual 3 buttons and wheel plus adds two buttons for paging forward and backward - EXTREMELY convenient once you remember this feature is available. This Connectland wireless mouse is AWESOME, especially at the price that Amazon.com charges - I paid $19.88 including shipping! The technology (DSS - automatic frequency shifting) is incredible, especially for something at this price and YOU DON'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO MAKE IT WORK - IT'S AUTOMATIC!!! Automatic frequency shifting is an important ability with 2.4 GHz devices because this band is jammed with 2.4 GHz household devices that could interfere but don't. This mouse works incredibly well and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone considering going to the convenience of wireless vs. wired mousing or looking for a more current state-of-the-art wireless optical mouse. Connectland CL-MOU23008 2.4 GHz Wireless Optical Mouse with USB Receiver

I rated this 4 out of 5 because I love that it uses a micro receiver. This mouse works, it is inexpensive, it has a nice feel to it and the shipping was lightning speed! I have a logitech mouse and it seemed like my laptop had a wing attached to it, with its protruding receiver. I also purchased a logitech m305 wireless micro usb mouse from Costco today and the price was discounted to $15.00. The movement of the cursor seemed as precise as my older usb mouse. However, it is much smaller and your hand just does not completely rest on it.

The reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because both my logitech mice felt more precise when using it. I feel the Connectland needs to be calibrated a bit to be precise. This is true when you are highlighting certain words in a sentence or clicking on an icon on the desktop.

Nonetheless, I would still recommend this because of it's price and unlike the person who gave this a 3 star review, I do not find the mouse to be small at all...I think it is just about the perfect size!

Overall, I recommend you buying the Connectland CL-MOU23008 2.4 GHz Wireless Optical Mouse. You can't go wrong with this product!

THis is a great mouse for the price. Bought because the charger broke on my other one. it has all I needed: back foward scroll, and it works at 10 feet at least. this 2.4ghz mouse out preformed a $33 logitech I bought at Wallymart(returned). Very pleased thus far!

I use the mouse contastantly, all day long. This device is comfortable and the buttons are positioned so that they do not get in the way.

The extra buttons on the side are nice for page up/down, especially if you use the internet a lot, like I do, or page through long Word or pdf documents.

No issues with range and it is very responsive, even when used on the desktop or with just a sheet of paper under it.

The short USB plug is nice for a laptop -- it doesn't stick out and can stay plugged into your laptop without worrying about it breaking off.

Can't beat the value!

This mouse is just right in almost every aspect: button feel, wireless range, comfort, size of dongle...The only downside is that it is somewhat picky to the surface it runs on. On my home desk, which is black with worns here and there, its response is really sluggish. On my office desk, no problem at all.

I just installed this mouse on an Asus EEE PC with Windows XP. Quick, easy, no problems. Simply put the supplied batteries into the mouse, switch it on, plug the USB receiver into a USB port, the unit self-installs, and you're ready to go. BTW, if when you open the package and wonder where the USB receiver is--it's stored in a little compartment in the underside of the mouse. Just pull it straight out. The mouse on/off switch is also on the underside. I should also say that the mouse and cursor move smoothly and accurately. If you're tired of using a touchpad, this is the way to go.

This is a great little mouse. Not too small and not too big. Doesn't feel too cheap. For the price you can't beat it. I bought 2 and am using one with a Windows 7 laptop and the other with an Ubuntu 10.04 laptop. No problems with either OS, true plug and play. It has a nice spot for the USB dongle on the bottom of it that seems to hold it in place with a magnet. For the price its a steal.

**EDIT** Recently the more I use this mouse the more if frustrates me. The Precision is close to terrible. I thought it was just while using it with Linux but I've notice it does it with Windows 7 also. When you go to click a link or button the pointer jumps around like crazy. I bought 2 of these and now they are just paper weights. Don't even think about using these for any kind of gaming. Looking back I wish I would have just spent a bit more $ and bought a logitech or other known brand name. THIS MOUSE MAKES YOUR POINTER JUMP ALL OVER THE PLACE and that is by far the most important part of a mouse. BE WARNED - Wireless Optical Mouse - Notebook Mouse - Wireless Mice - Optical Mouse'
