Digital Camo
Not quite as sturdy as the real thing and doesn't include all the same pockets. It also lacks the option of knee pad insertion, but includes reinforced knee and crotch stitching. A button fell off the day I got it with out any use. Overall a decent pair of ACU pants. 8685 ULTRA FORCE BDU PANT - ACU DIGITAL (MEDIUM)
Camo pattern and colors will work great in most environments. Zipper is not heavy duty. It is small like you might find on childrens cloths. Front pockets are shallow but are at least made with the same fabric as outer. Reinforced knee and seat will add to life of these as the fabric seems thin compared to the real thing. Made in China...
pants were great .shipping was good. sizes run a bit bigger than normal pants we found. orderd a med/long for a guy that wears a 32/36 wrangler jean. pretty close but a little baggy in the rear end and thighs. length was good.. definatley will be ordering more . good value good craftsmanship
My comment has to do with the camo itself, the quality of the pants aside. The ACU pattern is designed for woodland, urban, and desert uses. While it works decently well as an all around camo, it is not something I would recomend for woodland use. I wear ACUs everday and I HATE all of the hook and loop tape (velcro). Getting anything out of your pockets is going to make a lot of noise as you tear apart the hook and loop tape. And it wears out and eventually wont hold, then you have pokets that hang open and items can fall out. Real ACUs have a life of about 6 months of use. So, knock off brands probably have less. If I had to pick a camo to wear in woodland setting I would chose either MARPAT woodland camo or multicam. For urban uses such as Iraq or Afghanistan Id pick MARPAT desert or multicam again, ACU would be a close 3rd. The ACU is not a bad uniform by any means but it has its faults in my opinion.
good pants, but....material is a little thin, nothing like REAL bdu pants. wash heavy duty and overdose on fabric softener pants are very starchy. zipper fly is good, beats the button fly. overall good pants!'
