The skin does not completely fit the keyboard. It fits the keys and is useable but it doesn't stretch far enough. The color is darker in person but I chose to keep it anyway. There was also a problem with shipping in which my package was said to be one place but was really in another. I've ordered 2 products from this company and have had issues with both. Because of other reviews, I was worried about the color so I ordered two--one aqua and one teal. The color of the teal solid keyboard is just as it appeared online; however, the aqua is quite different. It is definitely more teal-blue than aqua in color. I do like the clear silicone look between the keys better than the solid teal cover. Both fit my Mac 13" very well. It adheres to the keyboard and I don't even notice it as I type. It shipped fast and I will not hesitate to purchase from Topcase in the future.
The color of the keyboard protector looks nothing like the color on the picture. The Aqua Blue looks awesome on the picture, but in reality the color is just ugly green. I got the TopCase Aqua Blue cover as well. These people must be colored blind, because the case and the keyboard protector are both Persian Green.
The color and fit of the product was fantastic and it arrived much earlier than anticipated!! However, the lettering/area where the light comes through on the keyboard is off on EVERY key no matter how I tried to put it on. So, at night, it makes the lettering on the keyboard much more matted and blurry looking than I would have liked. But, during the day it looks fantastic!
This is an AFFORDABLE product that DOES THE JOB while adding COLOR to a rather dull and gray macbook.
SUPERB COSTUMER SERVICE: The one originally sent to me was slightly defective and did not fit in one corner. I informed the customer service in the review but I did not expect any sort of response back. They immediately emailed me and sent me another one right away, all on them!
PERFECT FIT: Their typical product, the one I am using right now, fits like a glove.
COLOR: The color does not look like the preview picture. It is not a bright blue, more of a light teal. But this color looks spectacular on a gray aluminum body macbook. I always get compliments from people on how cool it looks because it looks as though the keys are actually blue!
I had a cover previously that I received with a hard case for my computer. It didn't fit very well & I usually punched a button that I didn't mean to because it would transfer the force onto another button. Not the case with this cover. It fits perfectly, after getting used to the feel of the buttons when you push them down, it works great. The students thought that I got a completely new computer, because the keys are so perfectly covered they couldn't see the original. On my first computer, I used the keys so much I rubbed the letters off of several keys, I now know that I will always be able to see what letter is there with these covers!
After reading some of the reviews I was a bit nervous about this keyboard cover. I read a lot of the same comments saying how the color was ugly/not aqua at all. They were all proved wrong. My cover is a bright turquoise/aqua blue, exactly what I was expecting. Also, the cover fits pretty well on my MBP 13'. Of course, it isn't an exact fit but that is to be expected when ordering from a company other than Apple itself. It takes a while to get used to if you have never had a keyboard cover, but again, that is to be expected. The shipping was also very fast, I ordered the cover on April 23rd, and received it April 25th.
