I bought this for my daughter's back-to-school laptop. She chose it (I suspect) as a "fashion accessory" because she likes pink, and I was a little reluctant to spend the money on a cheap snap-on piece of plastic.
I was in error; this case fit like a dream, and it doesn't impair access to any of the ports on the MacBook in any way. Speck has done a terrific job of making the fiddly little tabs almost invisible, but perfectly placed so as to tightly grip the polycarbonite shell of the laptop while offering scratch-resistant protection.

I ordered this pink case to spice up my white macbook, and it does just that. It is very sturdy, the color is vibrant pink, and it snapped into place very easily and has stayed put. I was worried that it might trap dust and dirt between the cover and the computer but it really stays quite clean. I remove the cover every month or so and clean all of the surfaces and so far I have been very pleased! The two legs on the back underside of the case can be pulled out for venting the underside or can be folded up, a feature that I really like. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to add a splash of girly color to their macbook. Note: this cover is for the older body style MacBook, not the most recent release!
I ordered my cover online, and I looked if it would fit the white macbook, it said it would, but it didn't. Now I already opened it, and can't return it anymore.
Not a good buy, I'm sure people with black macbooks would be very happy with it though.

This case is amazing! I was going to buy it from the Apple store for $49.99 but really didn't want to spend that much on a case so I found it on Amazon and saved some money. It is EXACTLY what is in the store. Its VERY easy to apply and take off and it protects it like it says it does. I HIGHLY reccommend this product to anyone who wants to protect their MAC from scratches and whose interested in the Speck case at Apple but would like to save some money!
Perfect for keeping the Macbook case free from scratches and other damage, and great for personalizing your Mac and making it stand out in a crowd. Clips on fine and remains firmly attached, fits like a glove and all the ports and DVD drive are accessible without removing it.
Love the case, the color is great, condition received in was awesome....one problem I have the Macbook white version before the latest one so it doesn't fit smh I sure did make it fit though lol and it looks cute ..... I should have thoroughly read the products description first smh any who I love the case!
This cover looks and fits great! I really have only 2 complaints. First, the other product reviews are true in that it will leave your Macbook unibody scratched on the top, despite constant use of the covers. I bought a Speck previously and when I took it off to put this new one on, it was scratched. However, there is nothing I can do about that now, and since I'd rather have a hard-shell protection for my computer, it doesn't bother me too much since it will always be covered, and consequently, scratches will go unnoticed. The photo does not do this cover justice. I personally think it is a more-appealing, truer hot pink color than the picture shows (it appears to be more magenta). This product is worth purchasing and provides great protection to your Macbook, especially if it is your life, like it is for me as a college student. - Macbook Shell - Speck - Case - Pink'
