Maybe the old saying you get what you pay for would apply here to a certain point. This battery tester was only a few dollars and is simple plastic, but it does do the job even though the battery being tested has to be aligned just right or you will get a false reading. The tester has it's share of pros and cons, but the bottom line is that it does work and that outweighs the cons. 4 stars is what I would give to this product.
