I have mixed feelings about the two 18v batteries I bought to replace the Ryobi batteries that were included with the charger in a 7 power tool package that I purchased 5 years ago. I'm happy enough with the batteries but I think the price is exorbitant. One week after I bought these on Amazon I discovered that Home Depot had a Ryobi 2 tool combo with 2 batteries and a charger for less than I paid for the batteries. I realize Ryobi must practically give the tools away in order to lock customers like myself into the dilemma of either throwing away perfectly good tools or paying the incredibly jacked-up prices for the batteries every few years. Same dilemma coincidentally occurs with replacement razor blades, automatic tooth brush heads, and numerous other products.
