Exercise Ball - base, exercise ball

Originally I was interested in purchasing a Balance Ball Chair, but at $70 and just starting out I decided to go with the Balance Ball Base, the less expensive way to go.

Not only does the base keep the ball from rolling while at your desk this unit will connect with an exercise strap for working out.

So for approximately $20 (Base and Shipping-shpg about same cost as the base) it's pretty worth it and very satisfied with it and perhaps even a better alternative to a Balance Ball Chair. Isokinetics Inc. Brand Exercise Ball Base

This is actually a really cool device because now my exercise ball doesn't roll all over the place. I use my ball at work as my desk chair and before I had the base I was constantly rolling all over. It was difficult to sit cross-legged on my ball, as well, although the rest of the office staff got a kick out of me falling heels over head.

Another neat thing about it is that there are hole in which I could hook up resistance weights hooked on cords so it keeps everything organised and handy.

I bought this to store my ball. I wasn't keen on having it rolling freely around my living space and this fits the bill. I haven't tried it for stabilization while sitting on the ball because I like the balancing which helps build core strength. It arrived looking just like the picture so there were no surprises. It isn't pretty but it definitely does the job.

This product is supposed to serve as a base for exercise balls that allows you to sit on the ball in a stable way . However, it does not serve this function at all! I have several sizes of balls and the base is not able to hold even one of them in place. It is simply not high enough.

Although not necessary, this ball base is convenient for keeping the ball steady, especially when the ball is not in use. Without this base the ball would do as balls normally do, roll! I have nothing to compare this base with, but rate it as "excellent".

My Isokinetics Exercise Ball Base was delivered within the promised time span in excellent condition. My purpose for purchasing it was to have a place to store the inflated ball; this product is perfect for that and can also be used to stabilize the ball while in use. Upon receipt of the base I noticed that it could also be used to facilitate the use of a strength-training exercise cord, which I have been unable to find. If you have that item, I would like to be notified.

Maybe I missed the point, but all this really does is keep the swiss ball from rolling around the floor. I guess you can slip elastic bands beneath it and sit on the ball while working out with the bands ... except it doesn't come with any bands and how one would get the bands through the holes is beyond me. It adds no height, has no wheels, and cannot be used to add wheels. This product seems to be very limited in usefulness - but quite pricey considering.

Since my swiss ball purchase was specifically as a work-chair replacement, this product has no real purpose at all. The ball does not slip around the carpeted floor, and having this under it didn't do anything useful.

Perhaps someone with the appropriate elastic work-out bands or a gym that needs to have the swiss balls aligned and not rolling all over the floor would find this product of more use. For me, it was not worth the price. - Base - Accessories - Balance Ball Chair - Exercise Ball'
