Yoga Accessories

The logo print on the front of the bag is very nice. There are three pockets which is great. In the back of the bag, there are two small pockets, one velcro and the other a zipper. On the velcro pocket, (if you have a couple of keys on your keychain) it ended up fitting just fine. I use the zipper pocket to hold my gym card/driver's license which fits perfectly. The big pocket in the front of the bag is nice too, which holds my gym towel. Although it is not big enough to put a bottle of water in, so I just ended up putting it in with my yoga mat which fits perfectly. The only complaint I have is that the shoulder strap is not adjustable. When carrying the bag over my shoulder, the strap is too big (gappy), too much room in which the bag moves around too much, so I end up just carrying it like a normal bag in my hand. Gaiam Printed Yoga Mat Bag (Damask)

This is a great Yoga bag, I had seen so many reviews about the mat not fitting into the bag. This bag is perfect with room to spare and I can even get my gym outfit and towel in there with the mat. It has a special compartment for your phone, keys and wallet if you are carrying one! I love it!

I researched for a while before buying this bag. My main concern was that the strap was not adjustable and so would be uncomfortable to carry, and that it was white and would stain easily - I found both to be unfounded. Although it probably would be better with an adjustable strap - I am clumsy and keep hitting my fellow beings as I wander the streets - it is actually the perfect length and very handy on my bike (even when I have another bag underneath it fits great). In addition, it is super roomy and I can schlep all my stuff with me and I can even get some small shop-bought items squeezed in (save the environment style, i.e. no plastic shopping bags). it has a perfect little pouch for my iphone and another little zipped mini pocket for that one thing you need to get really quickly (I normally put my keys in there). The only real downside is the clasp on the front pouch is one of those loop through belts and a little unwieldy - I would have preferred a button, zip or velcro; but hey, the front pouch has a rubberized edge and the flap gives me more space when I squeeze things in, so all in all a great buy.

I really love this bag, very handy and well constructed - large pocket is perfect for a water bottle or other large/tall item (not big enough for a yoga block). The bag has two other smaller pockets (one w/ zipper; other w/ velcro) ideal for keys and cell phone. Bag zippers from top to bottom for easy in/out for the yoga mat - plenty big enough for one mat, but not two mats. I like the color/design too, but for me, secondary to function.

This bag has four features that make it perfect for me: big enough for my mat, a side zipper for easy in and out, a side pocket for a strap and it's light and not bulky.

If you are looking for a bag, don't consider anything without a side zipper. Getting a mat in and out of a bag that has a top zipper only or drawstring is a major pain. Plus the drawstring style top doesn't keep dust out all that well, particularly problematic if you have a household with pets.

My first bag was beautiful, but my mat was a tight fit, and it was a pain to get in and out. It wasn't even a very good mat.

I've looked at some of the bigger bags that have more accessory space, it would be nice to have a place for a block or two, but they end up being too bulky.

My only wish, is that it would come in more colour and pattern combinations.

When I started my yoga classes, I wondered if I really needed a mat bag, but I'm glad I got it. It holds my yoga mat, keys, and small purse and has a very cute design on the front. I don't have to carry anything else to class. I got it from Amazon because they had the best price.

While the picture makes the bag look like its a tan color, its more of a cream. This yoga mat bag has plenty of space. I have a thicker gaiam mat that fits in this bag comfortably. The large side pocket is elasticized on top and has a buckle down tab. This pocket has enough room for my keys and a small purse with room to spare. There are 2 more smaller pockets that I haven't used.

When the mat is out of the bag, I can fit my fleece jacket in the bag during yoga practice.

Would recommend this bag for all yogis.

I love that there are secure pockets that I can stash my cell phone, membership card, wallet, etc. Also, I have an extra long mat and it fits with no problems. For me, a bag works better than a strap for my yoga mat because I hang it in the hallway ready to go and the bag keeps the mat protected from my dogs and cat--animal fur on yoga mat can be annoying. I can take or leave the print on the bag.

I knew this would be a quality item since it's from Gaiam, but I didn't expect to be so in love with it: the pockets are quite spacious, with plenty of room for everything I want to bring with me to practice. The design isn't faded anywhere, applied well and evenly. I really couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this bag, considering the price. The side zipper makes it easy to take my mat in and out. However, based on other people's reviews, I thought it would be a bit bigger, which was something that was important to me. I do hot yoga, so in addition to my yoga mat, water bottle, and thin towel for class, I also bring a towel for showering off afterwards, as well as a change of clothes and basic toiletries. Unfortunately, I can't fit everything in there. However, I would recommend this bag to anyone who doesn't bring as much stuff as I do.

This bag is just perfect to bring to and from the yoga studio. Plenty of room for your rolled up mat, plus a folded yogitoes towel and a hand towel for sweat. You could probably store another shirt in here too for after a hot yoga class. The front pocket holds a water bottle just fine, could probably fit two. Nice durable fabric, and cute design too! I've gotten many compliments. Its also easy to carry upright along your back or hanging from your shoulder horizontally.'
